Getaway to Gold Coast (3) - Tanjung Sepat

The next day when we wake up it's raining lightly outside. So our food are served in the cafeteria instead outside at the canopy. I have read many negative feedback of the breakfast location which has many flies over the food. I think we are lucky :) The food are so so, normal Malaysian style buffet breakfast.

On our way back to room, we pass by this red bellboy. Cannot skip playing with the man. Lol.

After changing, we went down to the water theme park! Woo! There are lockers outside the theme park for you to store your belongings, you can actually leave them in your room to save the money. The fee wasn't expensive but I forgot the price. You can rent their tube but that would be unnecessary too. The water theme park actually quite big in terms for a hotel. Some of the facility are actually quite fun. However it could be dangerous as maintenance was less often that large water theme park. Le bf scratched a hole his swim trunks while playing one of the huge slides bahahahah.

After playing for awhile it wasn't that fun so we went back to our room and enjoy our jacuzzi for the very last time before leaving!

After carrying all our luggage back into the car, we proceed to check out. It begin to rain as we start our car. Then... then... then!!! I suddenly saw that car outside the hotel and I realised I didn't take photo with it. I actually wanted to give up. Bf don't want me to leave with disappointment so he quickly drag me to run down the car together and shoot a photo with the car hahahahah. We are like idiots running under the rain. It's sweet however. :) Thank you

We stopped by Hai Yew Heng pau shop again to collect our buns. We also take away extra two fresh hot mui choy buns with us to eat in the car later! Then we proceed to where we have our lunch - Bay Watch Restaurant! I did my home work before the trip. Bay Watch is so far the most recommended seafood restaurant with quite consistent performance in their dishes. There was only another pair of couple there when we reached. We enjoyed the lunch quietly with sea breeze.

The end of our trip with delicious food.

Philosophy of driving

When you are in rushing hour, red light all the way.

When your eyes are sore and need a short break, green light all the way.

Getaway to Gold Coast (2) - Gold Coast Morib Water Theme Park Resort

Leaving Tanjung Sepat to our resort! Gold Coast Morib Water Theme Park Resort. It's about 15 minutes away I think? Asam Batu Laut Seafood Restaurant is just between of the resort and Tanjung Sepat. I have came across this when I was researching on food before departure. Regretfully we didn't have the chance to taste their food tho. I was right to assume that we will get too lazy to drive out in the end xD

Our room number 3264
 Block 3 Level 2 Room 64
As we parked our car, there was another car parking beside us. Another young couple like us! Seems like this is a good place for couple holiday? Teeheehee. Despite the negative comments for long check in queue on the internet, we get to check in pretty quickly. Probably because it's a weekday :) We get our keys from the receptionists and proceed to our room at 2nd floor. On our way we saw the couple guests whom we saw just now waiting outside their room for room service. Wonder why they took so much time for room service. Guests check out at 12pm and new guests check in after 3pm. It's not so nice to keep arrived guests to wait for room cleaning lor. At least put'em into rooms that are already cleaned. Luckily our room has done cleaning when we arrived. The bathroom floor is still wet so doesn't feel so great for me.

We get a room facing the pool view which is quite nice. We are very lazy people so we planned most of our activities within the resort, even better, in the room. Research prior to travel is very important, at least to find out what you will be facing and your "available tools". One thing I was unsatisfied, I requested a king size bed but they give me twin bedding. Duhhhh. Akak kita org ni couple lah. COUPLE!! Yes we could combine it together but it slipped away easily. I almost fell off the bed! -_____-
♥ 番薯 and 糖水 ♥
Upon arrival, we start setting up stuffs like in a camp hahah. Why so busy oh God. I was busying to check our room facility and to stuff all our foods and drinks into the refrigerator. We brought our HP netbook and cable to watch movies in the room! :D So literally bf is the one suppose to set up this thing lahh. Guys thing marh xD Since we have so many things to play with, you can imagine how many things we brought! Both of us have to go up and down twice to take all our luggage.
Pool view from our room. There's still a large part I didn't capture it in the photo.
Look at how many things we have /___\
These do not include our clothes and cameras yet.
Refrigerator full with food and beverages.
We brought net book to watch movie with their flat screen TV.
I love their bathroom. Jacuzzi here I come! Hahahahah. First thing Jeff do was to wash the jacuzzi with hot water, just in case it is not as clean as we saw. :p After half the day in Tanjung Sepat and settle down everything, we have our damp shirts sticking on our back like a glue. We took a shower before heading to the beach. Cleaning ourselves before getting dirty LOL. It's too enjoyable to shower here because they have a rain shower with strong water pressure. I have never liked showering this much. Not to forget the jacuzzi hahah. I coundn't resist soaking myself into the jacuzzi. I even bought bath salt just for this facility! :) I'm full of preparation hahah. What more you want in live when you can have water massaging in your private jacuzzi while watching tv. Yes I can watch tv while in jacuzzi because there's a huge wooden window in the bathroom. Can peek through the holes from inside. Nyek nyek. We went to the beach after we played enough with the bathroom, took a long time.
My lovely bath salt.
The beach has very fine sand. I felt my feet are sinking walking on the beach. We went to for ATV motorride, which I thought was quite expensive. Since we came to play, Jeff said it's once in awhile, so just spend all we want in our trip. It's RM50 for 30 minutes ride for the big motor(if not mistaken). The uncle was very nice saying that if there's no many other customers we may ride for a longer time. We rent the big ATV motor because my ass is too big to fit the small one bf said we could ride together :) Not cost-effective because most of the time we are taking turns to jaga our cameras and stand hahah. In the end still we ride together for a while, guess no one dare to take our cameras also la as we are large in size riding nearby. It wasn't that fun after awhile because I didn't dare to go too far because I watched all sorts of movies regarding Tsunami; or due to the heat generated by the motor which my leg can absolutely feel it. We got bored even before the time is up but the uncle insisted for us to ride awhile more LOLOLOLOL.

We spent some time taking photos and watching sunset. We were all sweaty and salty on our way back. Oh and the Pier is almost start operating because the light has switched on. We didn't spend much time there as we were not interested to spend money in the bar, we got our own drinks in the refrigerator hahah. As we got back to our room we realized the air-conditioner is not cooling at all. I've read a blog previously that their air conditioner was hot too because the filter was dusty. So I, the almighty instructed bf to check it out. As soon as we open the cover the dust flew out!!! Urghhhhhhhhh. I wanted to call for room service to clean it out because I don't wanna wash it for them and it's not like we were tall enough to get it down pun. Bf refused :( He doesn't want anybody to come into our room after we have all our stuffs inside the room like netbook, cameras and all. For safety reason it is very reasonable. For emotional reason I cannot accept it at all because it was really hot! Tell me no aircond for steamboat! Grrrr.

Time to prepare for our steamboat. Yes I brought rice cooker for steamboat. Eh can you imagine bringing a steamboat pot for travel?! At least rice cooker is much smaller in size, although it take some time. I also brought 4 huge bottles of drinking waters to wash our materials and for our soup. Had all our fun playing masak but we got hungry = = We have our romantic dinner at the balcony. Urghh probably should've just eat in the resort cafeteria tho overall comment on the food was negative. At last we still have great dinner. For once we worried the food is not enough but in the end it's sufficient yet not too full. Hohohohohohoho I'm just too clever in estimation. :P Just a short moment before we finish makan, an unpleasant stink odour has arrived at our balcony!!! o.o Where's the enemy! Actually I have read an article saying that during the writer's stay they have this disgusting smell as nearby has a chicken farm. When we entered our room the scent was fine so we thought it won't be a problem to us. Mana tau, 不是不到而是时候未到。 Bluaghhh, they will have to solve this problem.

After dinner and tv, shower and jacuzzi again before sleep just feel nice! R E L A X.
